Staymark privacy policy
Effective date: 2 October 2026.
The short version
- Staymark keeps the information you enter on your phone.
- There is no account to create. The app has no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no crash reporting of its own.
- The app itself does not send what you enter to us or to anyone else. That is a statement about the app. Your phone can still copy this information elsewhere through its own backup and transfer settings, and your phone can send Apple or Google diagnostics about the app. Those are explained below.
- If you email us, we receive what you send.
Who we are
Staymark is published by Arrivio Pty Ltd.
Correspondence address: PO Box 237, Sandy Bay, Tasmania 7005, Australia.
For privacy questions, email staymark@arrivio.life.
What you tell Staymark
Staymark works out your deadlines from facts you enter about your stay in Thailand. Depending on what you choose to record, this can include:
- your chosen stay category, changes to that choice, the dates on a visa document, and the date your current permission to stay ends;
- the dates you entered and left Thailand, and trips you plan;
- when you filed an immigration report, including 90-day or annual reporting where applicable, the recorded basis for annual reporting, and the next due date shown on your receipt or notification;
- whether you hold a re-entry permit, its type and recorded issue date, and the permission record it is associated with or uncertainty about that association;
- whether a TM30 address notification has been filed, and the date you moved (but not the address itself);
- the date your passport was replaced (but not your passport number);
- how you meet a financial requirement, changes of funding method, and dates and amounts in baht, including bank balances, lowest balances over recorded periods, monthly or annual income, and any balance falls and recoveries you record;
- your applications for an extension of stay, their outcomes, and any category-specific stage or financial-evidence declarations you record, including the supplied choices you select about whose evidence is used;
- your recorded work-authorisation situation, any expiry or renewal-application date, and reasons selected from the app’s supplied choices;
- the medical-cover arrangement you record and any policy-expiry or review date;
- programme status-report or qualification-check records, including recorded submission or attendance, the date you confirmed the record, and an authority-supplied date, a review date you chose or an unknown next date;
- the number of days you spent in Thailand in earlier years, for the tax day count.
The reason for a refused application. If an extension application is refused, Staymark asks for the reason you were given, in a box labelled "Reason given". You can type anything there, and Staymark stores the reason you submit. It stays on your phone, it is shown back to you if you correct that entry, and it is never used in a reminder.
Staymark has no field that asks for your name, passport number, address, email address or phone number. It cannot stop you typing such details into the "Reason given" box, so please keep that box to the reason you were given.
Where your information is kept
- Staymark stores what you enter in the app's own private storage on your phone. Other apps cannot normally read it.
- Staymark also keeps information on your phone to manage its local reminder schedule.
- Staymark does not add encryption of its own. Protect your phone with a passcode or screen lock, because anyone who can use your unlocked phone can open Staymark.
How Staymark uses it
- To work out your deadlines and the dates that matter to you.
- To schedule reminders on your phone before those dates.
All of this happens on your phone. We do not see it.
Reminders and your lock screen
- Staymark's reminders are notifications that your phone shows. A reminder's title names the topic, such as your 90-day report or your extension of stay. Its text can include dates, such as the day a planned trip departs or the day your permission to stay ends.
- Reminders can appear on your lock screen, where anyone holding your phone may see them. Depending on your settings, the lock screen may show only the title, or the whole reminder.
- On iPhone, you can hide reminder text on the lock screen. Go to Settings, then Notifications, then Show Previews, and choose When Unlocked or Never. You can also change this for Staymark alone, under Settings, then Notifications, then Staymark.
- On Android, you can choose how much the lock screen shows in your phone's notification or lock-screen settings. The names of these settings vary between phones.
- You can turn off Staymark's notifications in your phone's settings. Staymark then cannot remind you.
What leaves your phone
- The app itself: Staymark has no feature that sends your information over the internet. It does not send it to us, to advertisers or to anyone else.
- What Staymark can hand to another app, and only when you tap it: a request to open your phone's own settings screen for Staymark; where a website link is available in your version, the address of our privacy policy or support page, to open in your browser; and our support address, to open in your mail app. Staymark adds nothing of its own to these — no dates, no records, no identifier — and it opens the mail app with no subject and no message written. Staymark does not send the email.
- What happens next is handled by other software, and some of it is still ours. Your browser and your mail app, and the services behind them, follow their own rules — for instance, mail software may save or synchronise a draft before you send it. When you visit our pages or write to us, what we and our suppliers do is set out under “Our website” and “If you contact us” below, and what you can ask us to do is under “Your rights”.
- This section is about the app. Your phone's backup, transfer and diagnostics settings can still move information, as the next sections explain.
- Staymark does not download rule updates. The rules it uses are built into each version of the app. When we release a version with revised rules, you receive them by installing that update from the App Store or Google Play. Until you do, Staymark keeps using the rules it came with. You can see which rules your copy uses in Me, under About Staymark.
- Apple and Google handle buying, downloading and updating Staymark under their own privacy policies. They make sales, download and financial reports available to publishers. Depending on the store and transaction, these can contain purchase dates, order identifiers, amounts, and country or other location details. These are store records, not the stay or financial records you enter in Staymark. We use store information for app administration, accounting and handling purchase enquiries; we do not use it for advertising. Required business records may need to be retained after a support enquiry is resolved.
- Staymark has no crash reporting of its own. If you have chosen in your phone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple or Google may pass us crash reports and statistics about how the app is used. You can turn this sharing off in your phone's settings.
Backups and moving to a new phone
- On iPhone, if iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer is on, it can include the information Staymark stores. You can leave Staymark out of your iCloud backup in your iCloud backup settings. Staymark asks iPhone to leave its reminder schedule out of backups.
- On Android, if your phone's backup is turned on, Android can include Staymark's information in that backup. Android can also copy it when you move to a new phone.
- Apple, Google or your computer keep these copies under your account and their own terms. We cannot see them, and we cannot delete them.
- Restoring a backup can bring your Staymark records back. We cannot promise that any backup or transfer will include them.
Keeping and deleting your information
- We do not hold the information you enter in the app, so we have none of it to delete.
- On your phone, your records stay until you delete the app.
- Stopping tracking, or starting fresh, keeps your earlier record on your phone as an archived record. It does not erase it.
- Staymark's record is added to, never rewritten. If you correct or withdraw an entry, the earlier one stays in your record's history on your phone, including anything you typed in the "Reason given" box.
- Staymark has no button that erases everything. To remove all of Staymark's information from your phone, delete the app:
- On iPhone, choose Delete App. Offload App keeps Staymark's information on your phone.
- On Android, uninstall Staymark.
- Deleting the app does not delete copies in your backups. To remove those, manage your backups in your phone or account settings.
- On Android, if backup is on and you later reinstall Staymark, Android may restore your earlier records.
If you contact us
- If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to reply to you and to fix problems you report.
- We do not sell what you send us, and we do not share it for advertising. Our email service, Google Workspace, handles it on our behalf.
- We delete ordinary support correspondence from our mailbox 90 days after the enquiry is resolved, unless we need to keep particular records for a legal obligation, dispute or required business recordkeeping. Google may retain recoverable or backup copies for longer under its retention processes. This is not a promise that every provider copy disappears on day 90.
- You can ask us to delete your emails at any time by writing to staymark@arrivio.life.
- Please do not send your passport number, bank details or copies of documents. We do not need them to help you.
Our website
- Our privacy and support pages are hosted by Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and information about the web request to deliver and protect the website.
- We do not add advertising, visitor-tracking scripts, analytics tools, forms or account sign-ins to these pages. Our page files do not set cookies. Cloudflare may process security information or use security cookies as part of delivering its service; that is separate from the information stored inside Staymark.
- Cloudflare retains information according to its service purposes and legal obligations. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for all of its logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of end-user and network information.
- Google Workspace and Cloudflare operate internationally. Processing can take place outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. Their published Google Workspace processing terms and Cloudflare processing terms explain their arrangements.
Children
Staymark is intended for adult users. Some supported stay categories are for dependent holders, including children. The app does not ask for a child’s name or date of birth, and selecting a dependent category does not send any record to us. Please do not include identifying details about a child in support emails unless we have explained why they are needed.
Your rights and privacy enquiries
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or correct personal information, request deletion, object to or restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. These rights can have exceptions, including required recordkeeping.
For information held by us, email staymark@arrivio.life. This includes information you send to support and any identifiable store or website records available to us. We will check what we hold, explain what we can do, and explain any limits. We may need enough information to verify that the request is yours; please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed.
We cannot access the records stored inside your copy of Staymark, your device backups, or every record held independently by Apple, Google or Cloudflare. Where a request belongs with a provider, we will explain that rather than promise deletion we cannot perform.
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us at the same address with the details. We will investigate and respond. You may also contact the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. If a future version of Staymark handles your information differently, we will update this policy before releasing that version.
